Hawthorn/Whitethorn (Crataegus monogyna) - The seed is of Irish provenance - Available in 3 sizes Hawthorn (or Whitethorn) is a well-known native hedging plant, producing white flowers in Spring and red berries in Autumn. It will grow in all soil types and is particularly useful for creating a native hedge or mixing with other native hedging plants. Berries provide food for birds. Hawthorn is often used on farms.
